Bad eyesight should not stop you from achieving your goals provided you wear contact lens or glasses while playing. If you play with bad eyesight, then, of course, anyone can beat you easily.

Another approach is to use a breath deflector that covers your nose and mouth and directs gas away from your shield and lenses; these products work with full-face helmets but not modulars, as they must stick to the inside of the helmet. Generally a helmet that is too small will loosen up but a helmet that is too large is trouble. You could try using a “do rag”, bandana or other cloth on your head but really the best thing to do is get the smaller size and let it break it.
Is a loose helmet bad?
